Even the smallest deviation will cause us to miss the mark. We are to sanctify Christ as Lord in our hearts because God is holy. We must be holy as well. Do we know the bible well enough so that we can give an answer to all who ask about the hope that we have? Ours is a glorious hope.

This message covers the first six verses of The Beatitudes. The word "blessed" in the text refers to more than just peace and happiness. It means "a divine and godlike joy." Jesus was saying, "Joyful are those who possess these inward qualities."
