Jesus came to lift us out of the pit of the muck and mire of this world in which people are being held captive. Instead, we can be held captive by the hope of Jesus, who through His death and resurrection lifts us up to eternal life. This is why every believer in Jesus Christ is a Prisoner of Hope.
