Isaiah 7:14 is quoted in Matthew 1:23 as a verification of the prophecy concerning the virgin conception of the Lord Jesus. God is with us in the midst of our troubles, our victories, the affairs of humanity, the events of the last days and eternity (Hebrews 13:5).

The one great prophecy of the New Testament is the second coming of Christ in judgment. Matthew 24 is one of the lengthiest passages in the New Testament on the subject of the Lord’s coming. Matthew 24:36-39 uses Noah and his family as an illustration of that event.
