If we aren't in awe of the resurrection of Jesus as a historical event, we may only see it as a fairytale. The resurrection is scientifically impossible, but historically true. The resurrection is history-making, earth-shaking, life-transforming, and eternity-changing truth.

Although the Bible doesn’t call it a “gift basket” it does use the word “gifts” in connection with our Savior’s ascension into heaven. Because of Jesus' ascension we receive many gifts. In Luke's account of the ascension we notice three.
