"Would You Like To Get Well?”

It might seem kind of crazy to ask someone who has been paralyzed for 38 years if he wants to get well but, of course, Jesus never asks a question without good reason. This is an invitation to participate in his miracle.

Jesus' Divinity was shown in the healing of a man on the Sabbath Day (John 5:16) and declaring Himself equal with God (John 5:17-18). The religious authorities sought to kill Him yet should have honored Him. Their failure to do so condemned them. Don't make that mistake.
