A Lesson In Evangelism From Philip And The Ethiopian Eunuch

When Philip introduces the Ethopian Eunuch to Jesus – he does it God’s way. Philip wasn't an Apostle like Peter, a missionary like Paul, or a pastor like Timothy. He was a deacon, a servant of the church, an ordinary, average man who just couldn’t keep God to himself.

Today we look at another Deacon who never identifies himself as a Deacon; We must consider this Evangelist who never identifies himself as a Preacher; the bible says of him only that he was filled with the Holy Ghost and today that he is just passing through!

Philip was doing a great work in Samaria when the Holy Spirit sent him on what seemed a strange mission: go to Gaza, a desert region, and then get into a chariot. He obeyed, an Ethiopian official believed, and followed the Lord in baptism.
