Jesus went to Peter’s house and healed his mother-in-law. Then “Many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all who were ill.” Matthew then tells us that this fulfilled the prophecy that Jesus “took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.”
