Instead of telling us what faith is...the Bible shows! For our sermon together let’s focus our attention on the faith of one Canaanite woman as an example of “great faith.”

In Exodus 12:38 we read that there a mixed multitude joined the Israelites when they left Egypt. In the Targum the phrase is rendered "many foreigners," and "a medley of outlandish people". The Vulgate translates people who do not belong to the population of the country.
