The people of Israel after their exodus from Egypt had spent 40 years in the wilderness. They stationed in 42 places. These places and events corresponds to our life journey on the earth.
Numbers 32 42 Stations Chapter 33 of the Book of Numbers contains a comprehensive list of the forty-two places the Israelites visited during the Wandering in the Desert. 2. Pharaoh's Attitude Towards Worship

Worship is not a routine activity but a spiritual exercise to feed the soul and renew the relationship with one another and with God. Satan blocks the way. He justifies the attitude of indifferent to Worship.

The Passing over of the Angel of God over the land of Egypt is known as Passover. While he passes over he would spare the houses of Israelites because of their coverage by the blood.

God leads his people according to his design and tests the hearts of the people to know their commitment during the times of tribulations and sufferings. There is a great light to those who walk on the land of darkness.

The exodus community was facing shortage of food while they were in the wilderness and the Lord met their needs miraculously. Its interesting to note that God does greater things in their life. The miracle worker is with us.

The journey in the wilderness had given the Israelites to meet constant challenges. Either they went without water or food. They were in need of always the intervention of God. The Lord met them on every step of their lives. They had water, food, and meat.

10. Golden Calf In Exodus Community

The worship of the golden calf is seen as a supreme act of apostasy of the Exodus Community. The Calf is a representation of the Egyptian bull god Apis, and of the Canaanite fertility god Baal during the period of Kings (Exodus 32, 1 King 12).

11. Dangers Of Mixed Multitude

In Exodus 12:38 we read that there a mixed multitude joined the Israelites when they left Egypt. In the Targum the phrase is rendered "many foreigners," and "a medley of outlandish people". The Vulgate translates people who do not belong to the population of the country.
