We have the tendency to fall apart during difficulties in our lives and not able to see beyond them as Nahum was able to see far beyond what his eyes and emotions were able to see. He had a deeper appreciation of God’s Grace.

TITLE: THE LORD IS GOOD SCRIPTURE: NAHUM 1:7 I lift as a thought this morning the powerful first four words found in this Verse – THE LORD IS GOOD. I must admit, this book is a difficult book to read and certainly challenging to preach from. NAHUM is labeled as one of the “minor prophets.” ...read more

The community became known as a place for the down and out. In the 60s, young adults began ...read more

The work is great but the laborers are few. The warfare is heated but the hearts of many are cold. The witnesses are needed but many are idle. We need to give ourselves “fully” to the work of the Lord.

  • Boast In The Lord Series

Contributed by Matthew Kratz on Mar 22, 2019
    based on 1 rating

Paul gives three reasons for boasting only in the cross of Jesus Christ: 1) The cross has the power to free believers from the world’s bondage (Galatians 6:14b), 2) It has the power to do what the flesh cannot do, and 3) It has the power to bring salvation.

Galatians 6:14-18 [14] But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. [15] For neither circumcision counts for anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. [16] And as for all who walk by this rule, ...read more

We are to sing to the Lord always.

When I asked the Holy Spirit of what He wanted to write as soon as I finished writing the last sermon. I heard in my spirit Psalm 95: 1- 7, I wondered to myself what was in Psalm 95: 1 -7 and after reading it, I realised that God wants us to sing to Him at all times. His WORD also encourages us to ...read more
