You cannot lead someone to Christ through criticism, shame or correction. It starts with the kindness of God, as you show forth the compassion and forgiveness of Jesus. “God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance” (Romans 2:4).

Becoming A Conduit Of Grace

One reason why God saved us is to become a conduit of His grace. We’re to become a channel into which His grace is poured and through which it’s conveyed to others. But we can’t give away what we’ve never received or experienced.
