The sufferings of Jesus Christ were not an after-thought in the plan of God. Every aspect of his suffering -- his head, his feet, his hands, his face, his back, His side and heart issued fountains that atoned for corresponding areas of sin. What a Savior!

We go through great lengths to buy and purchase Christmas gifts for loved ones. We will break the bank in order to get the perfect gift. We wouldn't dare give someone a used or broken gift or put those items under our Christmas tree, but those items could be found under the Cross.
