About Sean
  • Education: Ordained Bishop in the Church of God (Cleveland,TN)
  • Experience: Seasoned Servant of God with over 25 years of achievements in providing spiritual leadership to individuals of diverse backgrounds. Highly adept in preparing sermons, leading worship services and providing pastoral care. Skilled in directing day-to-day operations when developing programs to grow ministry and outreach. Proven success innovating, implementing technology, and using modern church techniques to enhance the worship service as well as the growth and promotion of the Kingdom of God and Church. I can be described as modern in appearance and presentation, but classic Pentecostal in ministering and delivering God’s Word. My wife Briana not only supports my ministry but is a gifted and anointed minister of the Gospel and an accomplished writer. She has maintained several Christian blogs and pages. She is passionate for ministry and people. She has served the Kingdom of God through many roles in the church.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: Many of my sermons have been inspired by my interests in nature and photography as well as sermons and ministers I have found on this site. This is a collection of what I would call the good, the bad and the ugly of my ministry. Since I am fairly new to Sermon Central my contributions are in no particular order. Most of my older sermons will have a stated Intro and Conclusion or the title may have quotes around it. I started out writing only outlines and slowly went to "manuscript" style. So hopefully you can see the growth and maturity as you look over my notes. I hope that it inspires others to not feel like they have to be the best preacher just a good servant of God. Usually God will speak something in to my spirit while I am usually doing one of my hobbies and as I start working on the sermon; I will find myself looking to see if God has spoken the same thing to others, because lets face it as Solomon said "there is nothing new under the sun". So I know first hand as much as I would like to believe I have the market on what I am going to say there is no truth in that. I remember the Lord dropping "Your setbacks and set ups" and I thought for sure I was the only one that had little nugget until I heard another preacher on the radio say it several weeks later and that's when I knew that I can't pretend that I am the only one that God gives a good word too, lol. My prayer is that these sermons will inspire and confirm what God is speaking to you.
  • Family: I have been married since 2006 to the love of my life and a true partner in life and ministry; Briana. Together we have three children, two daughters and a son and our quiver is now full. We only needed three arrows so don't bother asking if we plan to add to the quiver lol.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: One old country preacher told me in relation to sermon preparation that if the "sausage is made in my grinder it's my sausage", he was trying to make me feel better about sometimes using someones sermons or points because no matter what you will make it to your taste.
  • Hobbies: I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, graphic arts, wood working and home renovation, fishing, camping, flying drones, star gazing and astrophotography, photography, videography, and cooking.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: I lost my voice in the middle of message and had to finish while whispering which is not my nature since I am usually very very loud! Early in my ministry I hand to follow a child that wanted to give a testimony that he was playing video games and his mom became a demon and that he woke up and he said the devil gave him that dream and walked down to his seat and I got to laughing and could not stop and luckily a gentleman was up singing a song about praising God seven days a week and went through every day several times to probably make up a year but it was enough time for me to pull myself together.

Christians seem to really like to explain God. We seem to have an answer for everything, no matter what the question is; sometimes those explanations come from scripture, sometimes they come from theologians and theories, but we seem to have the answer. Do we always have to have the answer?
