The issue of moderate alcohol consumption is often oversimplified by both sides of the issue. This message seeks to address the issue considering the whole counsel of God rather than a couple of proof texts. As the title implies, abstinence is recommended.

In his hometown, the people didn’t believe Jesus because he was a local handyman. Such an irrational conclusion is due to living by feeling instead of fact. Agnosticism is an effort to justify ignorance.
