Jesus Is Jacob’s Ladder

Jacob dreamed about a ladder reaching to Heaven. Jesus revealed that He is that ladder, that one way to reach God.

God Loves Camping

The best way to get to know God is by spending some alone time with Him. We see this is true for Bible characters who went "camping" and while they were alone, God met with them.

Honestly, I don’t like camping too much. I’m away from the comforts of home, living on simple food, risking my life with wild animals around, etc. I’m not an outdoor-type person. In the texts that is before us We have 2 spiritual encounters of Jacob's life. The 1st encounter was at a place called Bethel. In Genesis chapter 28, Jacob met God at Bethel. It was At Bethel, Jacob saw a ladder. But at Peniel he saw the Lord.
