Everyone keeps saying and we keep hearing over and over the phrase, “this is the new normal!” There is an old saying, “if it walks, talks and acts like a duck...it’s a duck!” What we are witnessing is not the new normal, what we are witnessing is the devil getting all of his ducks in a row!

As we look around the world in the day and age in which we live, we find ourselves questioning everything we’re told. The Adulterous Woman

In John 8:1-11, we see a woman who is brought to Jesus. She was caught in the act of adultery. She knows that, according to the law, she deserves to die. She is hopeless and helpless. But she is brought to Jesus. The only one who is able to condemn her offers her mercy.

When we stop trusting in human strength or looking to our own ability, God will act. When we are weakest and most defenseless, God will show grace. It’s when we’re at our lowest that God gets ready to shine his glory, to show that He is our Savior.
