About Thomas
  • Education: MA, M.Div, D.Min
  • Experience: Pastoring, planting, teaching 30+ years
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I write principle based sermons in a life application way.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Rick Warren preaching for life change
  • One of my favorite illustrations: When God saved you, you became part of His family. In that moment He could have taken you to heaven but He didn't. You see on earth there are only two things that you can't do in heaven. One is sin, the other is to tell people about Jesus. Which one do you think He left you here to do?
  • Family: Wife, Carla and six kids
  • What my parents think of my sermons: Of course they love them.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She cautions me from being silly at times. Otherwise she’s supportive and likes them.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Be yourself, everyone else is already taken!
  • Books that have had an impact: Capturing a community, Falwell. PD Church, Warren.
  • Hobbies: Playing and recording music, tennis
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Stop living for moments and live for eternity!
  • What I want on my tombstone: He went so others would know God
