SIN COMPLICATES LIFE
Let us lay aside the weight and sin that so easily entangles… Hebrews 11:2
I was supposed to get money from the ATM sometime during my work day. That’s all my wife asked of me that day.
But for one reason, then another, I failed to do it. I know I went out to lunch that day. I know I drove past an ATM several times. But when I walked into the house I realized that I had neglected the one thing I was supposed to do.

She took the opportunity of my shortcoming, to remind me that I hadn’t played with our new puppy much that week as well. “OK, ok, I will take the dog with me”. So into the car we went. Me and my Dalmatian, off to run an errand. When I arrived at the bank, I realized I hadn’t brought a leash. So the dog would have to remain in the car. The Dalmation was so excited to see me, he put both paws up on my window sill. His left paw depressed the auto lock button and …. Whoosh all the doors were locked. Dog inside. Car running. And me outside. There he was just chillin’ to Christian tunes.
Being the optimist, I figured I could run home (about a mile and a half) and return in plenty of time to rescue the situation. As I started across the street, I saw a better answer. Dennis a friend was coming out of a pizza place. I asked for a ride home. He said sure! I...
