Forgetting Your Wife's Birthday

On a business trip to California, I realized that I had forgotten my wife's birthday the day before. Expecting I was in big trouble, I went to the jewelry section of a department store. After explaining my situation the saleswoman, she said, "I’m sorry, but we don’t have anything that expensive."
