In these verses, we see a clear revelation of one of the greatest promises ever given to the human race the promise of salvation, the forgiveness of sins. When we trust Christ for our salvation, our sins are forgiven and we receive Christ’s own righteousness, as symbolized by Joshua’s new clothes.
