I had been interested in whales, because we had read Moby Dick and I liked looking at pictures of whales in the encyclopedia. And so I was really excited to see the whale. I wanted to see what it felt like. But there was a sign on the whale that read, “DO NOT TOUCH.” I didn’t like that. I wanted to know what it felt like. And I touched the whale. My mother reminded me that the sign said “DO NOT TOUCH.” I didn’t like that. It was restrictive. Keeping God’s law brings freedom, non bondage.
