The Law was the basis of Israel's freedom from slavery as well as the foundation of the blessings they'd received by God. But why God introduce these Laws in such an intimidating and frightening way?

2. Why So Long In Slavery?
Contributed on Apr 12, 2015
Why did God allow Israel to even be in slavery? And why did He allow it for so long? The answers to these questions tell us much about the chains God would free us from in our lives.

Why would God send Moses as a baby? He's supposed to be a "deliverer"... and it's going to take 80 years to grow into the job! Why did God do it that way?
I read the true story of a Sunday School for 4-year-olds'. Most of the children were known to the teacher, but this Sunday a little boy showed up without any identification. The teacher managed to get his first name, but couldn't find out his last name. "Brian, what's your daddy's name?" ...read more

James Dobson once told of the time his 2 year old son Ryan said grace. He said: “He had watched his mother and me pray before we ate each meal, but he had never been asked to say grace. One day, when I was out of town on a business trip, Shirley spontaneously turned to our toddler and ...read more

150 years Memorial Day was initiated after the Civil War. But Americans have difficulty remembering when this special day began and why its important to our nation. But 3400 years ago, God initiated His own "Memorial Day". Do you know when & why it began?
I’ve read that Memorial Day was originally begun by former slaves on May, 1, 1865. The ceremony was held in Charleston, SC to honor 257 dead Union Soldiers who had been buried in a mass grave in a Confederate prison camp. The former slaves dug up the bodies and worked for 2 weeks to give ...read more
