[240]. A MESSAGE FROM A POEM – SMOTHERING OF DELUSIONAL CREEP

This is a very serious poem. It is about delusion that is now a feature of this world in many ways.

What does the title mean? Well first of all we have delusion that creeps along like a snail, but creeps steadily. As it goes it smothers truth and honesty covering them over, like the residue a slug leaves behind. That is where the world is right now.

The world is in frightful delusion. We have militant Islam telling us it is a peaceful religion and stupid left wing politicians lapping it up, but the very heart of Islam is division and terrorism to achieve its satanic aims.

We have climate change (I know there are always some who will disagree) that is aimed to bring in a new world order under the WEF and UN and the WHO. This movement is a war on coal and gas, both given by God for our benefit but the enemies of God hate His provisions.

The destruction of gender, and the advocacy for homosexuality, and the promotion of evolution in schools and in our children, is delusion meant to destroy all God’s designated order. People are deluded by Santa Claus at Christmas so emphasis is taken from the true meaning of Christmas. Satan always has his substitutes – yes, the Easter bunny as well – and the whole purpose is to delude and blind people to the standard the bible has set for us.

When a person rejects God then he is an open sewer for all sorts of filth to fall into. When you create a spiritual vacuum by turning your back and mind away from God, you are an easy prey for delusion to control you.

Delusion is deception. Satan is the great deceiver. {{Revelation 12:9 “The great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, WHO DECEIVES THE WHOLE WORLD. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.”}}

This next verses speak of the coming Antichrist, but in the world today Satan is as these verses describe – {{2 Thessalonians 2:8-9 “and then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming, that is, the one whose coming is in accord with THE ACTIVITY OF SATAN, WITH ALL POWER AND SIGNS AND FALSE WONDERS,”}}

{{2 Timothy 3:13 “Evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, DECEIVING AND BEING DECEIVED.”}}. I think this verse speaks primarily of deceivers in the churches, but the general principle is there and we see that in the world everywhere. Politics is full of deceivers especially in my Australia.

We must be on our guard, more and more for the sinfulness of evil deception grows worse – {{Colossians 2:4 “I say this in order that no one may delude you with persuasive argument”}}

The poem covers a number of delusions. My only suggestion is to read it slowly. God bless you all and keep us from the evil deceiver, Satan.

SMOTHERING OF DELUSIONAL CREEP

Delusion is upon us; of that there is no contest.

Deception is delusion and that aim is Satan’s quest.

The devil is both a lair and the father of lies too.

Whatever is good and wholesome, Satan will misconstrue.

The serpent, twisted and cunning, applies his way with guile

To pour out on God’s creation his filthliness of bile.

Why, even the world, about Satan, lives in delusion,

Conjuring pitchfork and horns but that is an illusion.

Satan is an angel of light who lights up deceptions;

In men’s minds the wicked one brews his evil conceptions.

Delusion is the greatest weapon the devil will use.

There are many lying inventions from which he can choose.

These are projected with falsity as light in darkness.

Then the deceived are caught up in the demonic starkness.

A mind that is not of God is an open, fertile field.

Because restraints are weak, then to deception it will yield.

Eve was caught up in a subtle lie. “Like God,” she was told,

But the devil’s charm, not God’s, was such that it made her bold.

Jesus was tempted by Satan but He quoted the word.

The devil was powerless when authority he heard.

When God is rejected, man will seek his own solution,

But it is a toxic mix of fermented pollution.

A closed mind to God is an open mind to Satan’s schemes,

And the devil’s strong storehouse with putrid wickedness teems.

Man chases after the concoctions of humanism,

But it is mainly modernism and paganism.

Many of the “isms” are derived from Satan’s notions -

A satanic mix of error, and demonic potions.

What a sorry state it is when God’s wisdom’s rejected;

When man to his foolishness, is married in subjection.

In these last days, strong delusion has gained wide acceptance.

All sorts of deviant beliefs are finding convergence.

“The earth is hotter,” say the proponents of climate change.”

“The sea is rising and great floods will come,” but what is strange,

Is that there is no concrete evidence for either one.

False science is fed by a Marxist agenda by some.

They hate the uranium, coal, oil, gas God has given,

And by their irrational delusion they are driven.

It is the new religion and zealots are hostile,

Chanting slogans and falsehoods, but truth is what they revile.

“I am a higher ape on the evolutionary scale,”

So we are led to believe, but any proof will just fail.

Man is made in God’s image, not in some primate’s likeness;

Made for real fellowship with God and created faultless,

Not the product of Darwin’s tooth and claw stupidity -

The rantings of a godless mind in firm rigidity

Against God and His creation, and human perfection.

As for the truth Darwin lived in his tight held rejection.

God said, “Let us make man in our own image,” and He did.

The fool says, “There is no God,” and that makes Darwin stupid.

God calls evil, evil, but you have called that evil good.

God’s laws you abandon, but follow Him not as you should.

To obey is righteous and eternal and that gives peace.

Delusion separates from God and His pleadings will cease.

The world adopts deception, stronger now, and more perverse.

The greater the hatred of God, then delusion gets worse.

To find God is to find the truth, for Jesus is THE TRUTH.

You will walk in the light not as the world which is uncouth.

Delusion in these last days is found all places you go.

God has warned us, “Do not be deceived. Go not with the flow.”
