[181]. A MESSAGE FROM A POEM – MAN’S DEPARTURE IS AWAY FROM GOD

We live in a world in decline and it was prophesied that way – {{2 Timothy 3:1-5 “Realise this, that IN THE LAST DAYS DIFFICULT TIMES WILL COME, for men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,}} etc.

One would be blind not to notice how bad things are getting. There are very few nations that are doing well and have some proportion of godliness. My heart will always go out to Pango Pango (Pago Pago) or American Samoa. I have been there on two Sundays and was so impressed with the standard there of Christians and their worship and singing. However the cults are making great inroads with American money – SDA and Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses. This I think has been through a failing of some churches there.

Paul continued with the conditions of the last days with this – {{2 Timothy 3:13 “Evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.”}}.

This may be applied mainly to the church scene in Paul’s mind, but the principle is now in full operation. Iran, Hamas, Macron, Starmer and the horrible persecuting police in Britain, the Democrats, and one very evil man – Albanese, Prime Minister of Australia who has a bitter hatred for Jews and Israel and a love for Hamas and Palestinians and the terrorist Palestinian leaders. The world is imploding, and all this points to the soon coming Tribulation.

In Wales a shopkeeper was robbed 5 times in a week and put up a sign in the shop window –

[[“Due to scum bags shoplifting, please ask for assistance to open cabinets. Thank you.”]]

As a result he was harassed by police and the sign removed. Police support criminals it seems in Britain. If you don’t believe me look here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ocfeNwf_M8

Actions of Scottish police against Christians are frightful. I could go on and on about the severe decline in the world. The greed and stupidity of the tech giants is astronomical. Among them are Adobe, Microsoft, Apple, Google (maybe the worst) and a lot more.

The poem looks are what is inside man leading to his departure. The old nature breaks out worse and worse. The more a person turns from God the more sinful that person comes.

It would be a great joy if a sinner came to Christ through the words of this poem.

======================================================

MAN’S DEPARTURE IS AWAY FROM GOD

When Jesus comes, then it will be too late

For those who rejected Him on earth.

To Jesus Christ they refused to relate,

But spent their years in merriment and mirth.

=========================

God is not willing that any be lost;

That any be chained by sin’s refusal;

From one sin’s hurt to another be tossed;

Restrained from any godly perusal.

=========================

The unconverted nature in man’s soul –

That natal inheritance we possess,

It wages war so it won’t be made whole.

Through wickedness, it will not God confess.

=========================

It will damn us to hell; separated;

From life everlasting ‘tis a stranger,

And to eternal death it’s related,

But knows not its power or its danger.

=========================

Man’s chosen path away from God is fixed

Retreating further and further each day.

Man’s deviant ways with Satan are mixed,

But their darkness is fully Satan’s way.

=========================

God will not tolerate man’s departed road

But soon with clarity the summons rings.

The Church is removed to heaven’s abode,

Where to the Lamb of God, its praise it sings.

=========================

Woe, woe to those who are left on earth

When Tribulation ravages full scale.

While time allows, freely claim God’s new birth.

Your own efforts will self-destruct and fail.

    People do judge you by what you wear. A young man came into our worship service a few weeks ago. He was wearing lots of leather and chains. His hair was spiked blue.
