[115]. A Message From A Poem – Have You Trusted The God Of Faithfulness?
Contributed by Ron Ferguson on Jun 27, 2025 (message contributor)
[115]. A MESSAGE FROM A POEM – HAVE YOU TRUSTED THE GOD OF FAITHFULNESS?
God is faithful in proven circumstances. Have you actually proven the faithfulness of God in your life? We have a faithful God so we can anchor our faith in the faithfulness of God.
{{Psalm 119:90 “YOUR FAITHFULNESS CONTINUES THROUGHOUT ALL GENERATIONS. You established the earth, and it stands.”}}
Deuteronomy 32:3-4 “for I proclaim the name of the LORD. Ascribe greatness to our God! The Rock! His work is perfect for all His ways are just; A GOD OF FAITHFULNESS AND WITHOUT INJUSTICE. Righteous and upright is He.”}}
{{Lamentations 3:22-23 “The LORD’S loving kindnesses indeed never cease for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning. GREAT IS YOUR FAITHFULNESS.”}}
{{1 Corinthians 1:9 “GOD IS FAITHFUL, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”}}. Since God is faithful, what sort of creatures are we if we are not faithful to the Lord in return? Remember the words, “Well done, you good and faithful servant.”
The Lord requires two things from us. One is commitment and the other is faithfulness.
I know my God is faithful in all circumstances, as did the great saints of old. This is one of the key pillars in our trust – that God is faithful! ALWAYS!
============================================================
HAVE YOU TRUSTED THE GOD OF FAITHFULNESS?
He is the God of faithfulness,
The God of all resources.
He is the God who misses nought,
And steers His loved ones’ courses.
=========================
In His hand are held the nations,
Even though they have rebelled.
It is God they don’t want to know;
It is God they have expelled.
=========================
God’s faithfulness is proven fact,
The God of circumstances.
He honours faith with just reward;
This world’s not run on chances.
=========================
God has said it; I believe it;
Simply take God at His word.
He loves the ones who practise faith.
Put in practice what you’d heard.
=========================
Noah believed what God had said;
He set to and built the ark.
Year after year his trust remained,
But the sinners missed the mark.
=========================
Abraham went where directed,
Off to a yet unknown land.
Obedience expressed in faith,
The faithful ones understand.
=========================
So many more, the Lord obeyed;
Their trust in God was steadfast.
God is faithful to faithfulness,
Because faith in God will last.
=========================
Reader, do you know the Lord God?
Do you want life that’s secure?
He is the God of faithfulness,
And with Him, all things endure.
