Covenant Marriages Vs Contract Marriages

CONTRACT MARRIAGES:
Between two people
I seek my best interest.
We negotiate terms.
I keep a record of performance.
I punish failure.
The goal is winning.
It is a professional relationship.
COVENANT MARRIAGES:
Between three people - man, woman and God
We seek God's will for our best interests.
We serve each other.
We keep no record of wrong-doings.
We forgive failure.
The goai is worshipping.
It is a personal relationship.
THINK ABOUT IT:
Which marriage style best reflects what the Scripture calls us to do?
