About Jeff
  • Education: 2 years Christian Life College 1 year National University of Health Science
  • Experience: My name is Jeff Poms. I founded and created Know Your God Ministries in an attempt to share the life-changing love of God, through Jesus Christ, with those who have not heard nor received His unfailing love. I currently live in Conway, South Carolina with my wife, Bianca, and daughter, Isabella. Bianca and I met and married in the Chicagoland area where we attended Christian Life College and served at Church in the Word (Elgin, IL). It has been my desire to start a movement that 1) brings the Word of God (the Bible) to others so that they can identify and believe the glorious attributes and characteristics of God and 2) to introduce people to the peaceful, loving presence of Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit. At Church in the Word I grew in my ability and desire to serve others. I gained valuable ministry experience in children’s, youth, altar and home group teaching ministries. The leadership development I received under the pastoral staff at Church in the Word has given me perspective and appreciation for ministering to an unknowing and lost world, as well as the need for discipleship within the church. It is my sincere hope to continue serving Christ’s church and community around me with diligence, authenticity and love.
