Bound: To be limited, Restrained, Restricted, Temporarily/Permanently unable to perform one’s best due to “outside” forces.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free,* and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

1John 3:8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

How did He do it?

John 8:32 And you shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free

Colossians 2:15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it

Israelites spent 430 years in bondage in slavery to Egypt

Israel is a type of “Lost Soul” Egypt is a type of the devil

Even when they finally were free from Eygpt they were still acted like slaves.

Then wondered for 40 years in a wilderness.

Many people today spend most or all of their lives in one form of bondage or another:

Won’t try a new haircut, won’t dance, won’t generally do things that they “want” to do

James 1:14-16 don’t be deceived

II Timothy 2;25-26 and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.

So how do u get free?

1st Salvation- Romans 10:19, I John 5:5

2nd Word- Romans 12:2, Romans 10:17

3rd Worship- Isaiah 61:3, Psalm 22:3

4th Surrender- James 4:7, Matthew 16:25
