About Glynda
  • Experience: Just writing sermons and preaching on my podcast, occasionally guesting on others' podcasts and on YouTube. I am no one special, but my God sure is!
  • One of my favorite illustrations: The story about the preacher holding prayer meetings with not enough people in them. The Lord told him if He came back that night, only 40 out of his congregation of 400 would have gone to heaven! I wish I could find this illustration again, I lost it.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: My Mother could not have been more proud.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: I don't have one.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Just be yourself.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: I'm still preaching every chance I get.
  • What I want on my tombstone: To God be the glory

The wages of sin is always death. Whenever you sin, look at your life and realize that death is coming to something in it. Anger sins often bring death to relationships. They can bring death to trust, to jobs, to friendships, you name it.

So today I want to talk to you about anger, specifically the kind of anger that causes outbursts, especially if those outbursts are way out of proportion to the situation at hand. The reason we are talking about this NOW is a lot of folks have been struggling with this and I think it could be an ...read more

God is well able to deliver us from the oppression we are coming under. BUT IF NOT…but IF He doesn’t, are you strong enough to stand on what you believe even as everything around you is going up in flames?

Today we’re going to talk a little about the story of the 3 Hebrews that Daniel knew who got tossed into the fiery furnace in Daniel chapter 3.
