INTRODUCTION: I am told that many animals use their whiskers, antenae,

or feelers to help them.

THE WHISKERS ON A DOG OR CAT ARE IMPORTANT. They use them to measure

and determine their ability to crawl through places by feeling with their whiskers.

An animal with no whiskers is at a great disadvantage...

IT CAN'T SENSE PROPERLY...

WE TOO HAVE SENSORS THAT HELP US NAVIGATE PROPERLY...

D-MAIL: from the devil to depress, discourage, despair, down...

Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them,

Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

Mark 12:24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not

therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the

power of God?

B. YOU CAN NOT ALLOW THE PAST TO DICTATE OR DEFINE YOUR

PRESENT OR YOUR FUTURE.

MORAL SENSE OF RIGHT AND WRONG...

B. Conscience is the faculty of the mind... the sense of right and wrong we carry from

birth.

C. The conscience is the MORAL CHARACTER OF HUMAN CONDUCT...

D. ALL MEN CARRY FAULTY FACULTIES DO TO THE FALL FROM GRACE.

1 Tim. 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

E. Our GOAL in life has become: FEEL GOOD...

MAN HAS A GREAT TENDANCY TO JUSTIFY HIMSELF.

Life is a theater ...

F. SITUATION ETHICS define our behavior...

I had to do this...

G. Our words, our behavior patterns, our hobbies, OUR LOVE, our INTEREST DEFINE

WHO WE ARE?

H. What is truth? Is there a standard of truth?

Shall we compromise and sear our consciences to ACCEPT the current flowing

down stream?

III. FACTS ARE ALWAYS BEFORE US... VALID OR INVALID...

IT IS OUR ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIOR REGARDING THE FACTS THAT WILL

CAUSE US TO INTERPRET AND DRAW CONCLUSIONS REGARDING THE

FACTS...

A. Fact: 2+2=4

So what? I don't care? Why?

B. Let us look at a statement...

My PRESENCE can make a difference...

Is that true or false... ?

How can your PRESENCE MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

C. If that statement is VALID, is this statement valid...

My PRESENCE can make a difference...

MY ABSENCE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE...

D. LIFE IS MORE THAN STATEMENTS BEING VALID OR INVALID...

LIFE IS HOW I APPHREND, PERCEIVE, AND INTERPET THE STATEMENTS

THAT I HEAR...

E. THEN HOW WILL I APPLY MYSELF TO THE INTERPETATION OF THE FACTS...

IV. LET US DEFINE SOME TERMS...

B. APHREHEND:

To seize, arrest, to understand

Anticipate with uneasiness... or fear

C. PERCEIVE:

Apprehend through sight, sound, feeling

Apprehend with the mind...

D. PERCEPTION:

The intuitive recognition of a truth,

Aesthetic quality, realization, feeling, insight, notion

E. PERCEPTIVE:

Capable of being sensitive, discerning, OBSERVANT....

Alert, attentive,

F. INTERPRET:

Explain the meaning, clarify

To bring out the meaning of...

To understand and explain...

V. HUMAN NATURE IS A DRIVING FORCE IN ANY LIVIN

IS OUR FOCUS ON EARTHLY, NATURUAL, FLESHLY DESIRES, CARNALITY...

A. TODAY THERE ARE MANY PARASITE THRIVING WITHIN THE FAMILY, THE CHURCH

AND THE FAMILY.

IT WOULD BE A GREAT STUDY TO IDENTIFY AND PERCEIVE WHAT THE

PARASITES ARE THAT CAUSE LEADERS TO BE ANEMIC...

B. PARASITE:

Organism living in or on another and BENEFITING AT THE EXPENSE OF THE HOST.

C. ANEMIC:

PALE, LACKING VITALITY, no power, little to no strength,

NOT HAVING ENOUGH RED BLOOD CELLS...

Philip. 3:19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and

whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

D. PETER --- ONE OF THE HAND CHOSEN SEEM TO FIND HIS HEART

SPENDING TIME IN AREAS OF NO SPIRITUAL PROFIT.

Matthew 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me,

Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that

be of God, but those that be of men.

VI. WE MUST ACCEPT THAT THERE IS AN ETERNAL PART OF MAN...

THE SPIRIT PERSON IS OF FAR MORE VALUE THAN THE FLESH'S

CARNALITY...

2 Cor. 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish,

yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

[17] For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more

exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
