Jesus practiced mourning regularly. He said in Matthew 23:37, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would ...read more

We are thankful to the committee which compared and evaluated several hymnals before choosing this one. And we are ...read more

Walking by sight is something we have all perfected. We believe when we see the proof. However, we are called to walk by faith, believing without the proof. This message is about taking Jesus at His Word and believing.

We worship God because (1) He Commands it, (2) He is worthy of it, and (3) because it is for our own Good.

Why do we worship God? (Topical) 1. God wants us to worship him! Ex. 23:25-26 A. God wants us to worship him because He is worthy (Rev. 4:11). It is just, right, and good that God be worshiped. What are our hands good for doing?

What are our hands good for doing? They can make things. They can comfort and they can chastise. They write words. Hands can make signals and signs. • The Reason We Submit To Authority Series

Contributed by Andrew Dixon on Dec 15, 2021

The Reason We Submit to Authority In Romans 13:5 we read, “We must obey therefore, not only in order to escape punishment, but also for conscience' sake.” (WNT) All of us are familiar with the principle that if we don’t obey rules and submit to those in authority, we will get punished, and ...read more
