The sacred mystery of Christmas is the Incarnation, that God became flesh and made His dwelling among us. The world opposes this mystery as irrational and offensive, because it points to our fallen nature and need for a Savior.

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit are irrevocable. However, if people misuse it, God will not take away the gifts, but he can remove the sharpness, causing the impact to fade over time.

God gives His Gifts of the Holy Spirit to his people, but if he wants to take the gift away from them, he removes the sharpness of the gift rather than the gift itself.
