Contributed by James Linders on Oct 3, 2015
     | 3,570 views

For some reason Christ's date of birth is NOT recorded in the Bible. THIS however does NOT mean that He was NOT born. In fact, the place of His birth, and that He WOULD be born, has been prophecied BEFORE His birth by BOTH Isaiah AND Micha.

It is NOT specifically recorded in the Bible on WHAT date Christ WAS born. In ALL probability we might be within our right to contest the DATE on which Christians celebrate Christmas. HOWEVER, this does NOT mean that our Saviour was NOT born. On the contrary the Bible gives us CLEAR indication that ...read more

Do you long for Christ’s return? John was given a glimpse of the glorious Christ. Seeing Christ through Revelation helps us to appreciate Him more and see our lives in the light of the hope we have in Him.

[I’ve taken some of the thoughts in this sermon from Anne Graham Lotz’s The Vision of His Glory.] The second coming of Christ does not always conjure up the same emotions. • If you are to narrow down your emotions regarding the return of Christ to one word, what would that be? • Discomfort, Fear, ...read more

How can we know for sure that Jesus really is EMMANUEL – GOD WITH US – the One the Father sent to be the Savior of the world? One of the major evidences to support Christ’s claim to be the Messiah, are the great Messianic pophecies of the Old Testament.

Jesus Christ fought many battles for us and He still does today. What sacrifice would you make to show your appreciation and dedication to living the life He would have us live?

This past week, as I often do, I watched a couple of movies portraying the Life of Christ. It doesn’t seem to matter how many times I watch these; I always get something from them. Something that touches my heart and reminds me of whom I belong to. Yesterday, I happened to find a clip from “The ...read more

Just as the church at Ephesus had its opportunity to respond to the Lord's call, so do we. We too are called to be a shining light for Christ and share the love of God with others. Let us consider the lessons we learn from the church at Ephesus and seek to renew our love for Christ.
