We were discussing on FaceBook an article by Kirk Cameron, “Is It A Sin To Be Fat?” I have provided the link below for your edification. D. L. Moody and Charles Spurgeon were both 5' 9" tall and weighed 350 lbs. Both won over a million people to Christ. If it is a sin, it would appear ...read more

In today's world, the church appears to be busy, but is it truly fulfilling God's mission? Are we, as a church, actively 'occupying' or merely resting on past achievements while waiting for the Lord's return? This sermon explores these questions and calls for a more proactive approach to our faith.

When we look at the modern church, we see that it is busy as a whole. But are we truly accomplishing what God has given us? Is the church actively occupying, or are we simply resting on past achievements and waiting for the Lord's return? In Luke 19:13, Jesus called his ten servants, gave them ten ...read more

Christ is risen! So don’t be confused any longer. Instead, be confident and share the good news!

Many years ago, a man climbed up on the side of the Brooklyn Bridge and was about to jump when a policeman grabbed him and drew him back. Last time we talked about how some in Corinth, especially women who were just experiencing new freedoms in the body of Christ, thought it best to divorce their pagan husbands, or remain celibate in marriage in order to be better Christians. In the context of an overly-sexualized society, and of a ...read more

50 cents for anyone who can tell me what book comes before or after the book of Ruth. The book of Ruth sits in a very interesting place in Biblical history.
