FASTING 2018 . Fasting does not give us power to heal the sick or cast out demons. God's Word does that. Fasting brings us in the place where we can believe God’s Word. We are drawn closer to the Lord.

Why did Jesus have to suffer after all He was the Messiah and Peter just couldn't understand why Jesus spoke about His forthcoming death as He did.

In this Scripture Jesus confirms that He IS the Christ, the He must die and that He will rise again. Also in this Scripture we see that we must believe Jesus is the Christ, that we must die and be raised; raised to eternal life or eternal death.
