One who would be justified must keep the entire law perfectly. Thus the Law condemns.
2:17.
“Indeed you are called a Jew, and rest on the law and make your boast in God,”
Following the authorized text and its Greek, that word “indeed” probably doesn’t fit. The word is an interjection used to show surprise and is most often translated “look” or “see”. Old English would be “behold.”
