God's name stands for him. When we pray for his name to be hallowed, 1) We are saying that he is the foundation of our lives, and 2) We are committing ourselves to show his holiness by our worship and actions in the world.

When we pray for our daily bread, we TRUST God to provide, we live day for TODAY, not borrowing anxiety from tomorrow, and we pray in a SOLIDARITY with others (OUR daily bread).
