SERMONCENTRAL TERMS OF SERVICE
SermonCentral.com (“SermonCentral”) is a website domain owned and operated by Outreach, Inc. (“Outreach”) that provides a forum for (1) its users (“User(s)”) to share their original, copyrighted sermon-related resources and research, e.g., writings, photographs, videos, illustrations, graphics, music, sounds, and any other original works of authorship (the “Media”) with other Users, (2) Outreach to share its own Media with Users, and (3) Outreach to share AI-generated Media with Users, pursuant to a limited licensing agreement, as further described below.
Upon using SermonCentral, User enters into a legally binding agreement (“Agreement”) with Outreach and agrees to all of the terms of service set forth below (“Terms of Service”) as well as the Outreach Privacy Policy found here.
Please read this agreement carefully in its entirety before uploading, downloading, or using any Media available on SermonCentral. If User has any questions regarding this Agreement or its terms, please contact Outreach by email at: support@sermoncentral.com.
Users represents that User is (1) 18 years of age or older, or (2) 13 years of age or older and has obtained parental or guardian consent to enter this Agreement and use SermonCentral and its services.
User will not provide information to or through SermonCentral related to a third party without that third party’s knowledge and consent. By providing information or uploading Media to SermonCentral, User represents and warrants that User is entitled to and has the requisite rights, including copyright rights, to submit such information or Media, and that the information or Media is accurate, not confidential, and not in violation of any contractual restrictions or third-party rights.
Users can create a User account to access Media through SermonCentral. User agrees to: (1) keep User’s password secure and confidential; (2) not permit others to use User’s login credentials to access User’s account; (3) refrain from using other Users’ accounts; and (4) refrain from charging anyone for access to any portion of SermonCentral or its services. User is responsible for anything that happens to or through User’s account until User’s account is terminated (as set forth below) or User can establish that User’s account security was compromised through no fault of User.
User agrees that SermonCentral can use the processor, bandwidth, and storage hardware on User’s computer, mobile device, tablet, wearable device, speaker, or any other device User utilizes to access SermonCentral in order to (1) facilitate the operation of SermonCentral, (2) provide advertising and other information to User, and (3) allow Outreach and Gloo, LLC, its partners, subsidiaries, and affiliates (collectively, “Gloo”) to do the same.
User understands and agrees that certain Media on and from SermonCentral has been generated by an AI system and may contain errors, inconsistencies, or outdated information. All Media is provided as-is without warranties or guarantees of accuracy. Outreach strongly recommends that User uses SermonCentral’s content only as a starting point for further research, consultation, and professional guidance and that User independently verifies the information before sharing the content or making decisions based on the content. Outreach disclaims any liability for damages or losses resulting from User’s use of or reliance on this content.
While some of the Media available on SermonCentral is free, much of the Media is only accessible and downloadable to Users who make a direct purchase of the selected Media and/or Users who pay for a SermonCentral PRO membership (“Membership”). To make a direct purchase or acquire a Membership, User must provide SermonCentral with a valid, accepted method of payment (“Payment Method”). To retain a Membership, User must update User’s Payment Method, as necessary, to ensure that a current, valid, accepted Payment Method is always on file with SermonCentral. Membership will continue and automatically renew annually until it is cancelled by User or terminated by Outreach. SermonCentral will email User seven (7) days before User’s Membership renews. User must cancel User’s Membership before it renews in order to avoid paying Membership fees for the next billing cycle. If User does not timely cancel User’s Membership, SermonCentral will process the same Payment Method on file to renew User’s Membership. For more information about Membership cancellation, see Section 13, “Cancellation and Refunds,” below.) If User fails to maintain a valid, accepted Payment Method on file such that payment cannot be made when it is time for the Membership to renew, User’s Membership will automatically be cancelled, and User will no longer have Membership access to SermonCentral.
By accessing, viewing, and downloading Media from SermonCentral – whether the Media be freely available or acquired through a direct purchase or as a benefit of Membership – User agrees to be bound by a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement (“License”). This License is offered to User conditioned upon User’s acceptance, without modification, of these Terms of Service.
The License permits User to access, view, download, and exhibit, perform, use as part of a sermon or teaching, or display Media in a church service of any kind, including but not limited to, a live stream or online service, ministry meeting, conference, Bible study, small group, life group, or any other gathering of people in a non-commercial church or ministry setting.
The License also permits User to make one additional copy of the Media solely for the purposes of backing up or archiving the Media.
The License also permits User to share Media with persons who are within and represent User’s organization, and directly contribute to conducting church services at User’s organization (paid or volunteer), provided that the recipient agrees to abide by these Terms of Service.
If User exceeds the permissible uses for the Media or otherwise violates these Terms of Service, the License will terminate immediately, all rights granted to User by the License will immediately revert to Outreach, and any further exploitation of any Media shall constitute an infringement of copyright.
User may not make a copy of Media available to church attendees/members/congregants (except those who contribute to conducting church services at User’s organization and agree to abide by the Terms of Service, as further set forth above).
User may not copy, distribute, or transfer Media to persons outside of User’s organization.
User may not upload media to a file location that unauthorized users can access.
User may not use Media for any commercial purposes, including but not limited to, reselling, incorporating into commercial works, or packaging with any other products for sale.
User may not exhibit, display, or broadcast Media in any fashion where the original content could be easily downloaded by a viewer through the internet, radio, or television, including but not limited to, User’s church website, User’s ministry website, YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, GodTube, or any other public-facing video display platform with a download feature.
User may not use Media to create derivative works either by including a portion, or all, of Media in new works or as a template, reference, or outline for new works.
User may not incorporate Media (or any part thereof) into a logo, trademark, or service mark.
User may not upload Media to User’s church website, User’s ministry website, YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, GodTube or any other social sharing platform as a standalone piece of Media outside the context of a church service.
User may not use Media in any manner that SermonCentral deems defamatory, obscene, libelous, or blasphemous.
User may not carry out any other activity with Media that is not specifically permitted by this Agreement.
Users may submit and upload their own original Media to SermonCentral (“Contributor(s)”) to be shared with other Users. By uploading Media to SermonCentral, Contributor avows that (1) Contributor owns and/or has the right to share such Media, (2) such Media does not violate these Terms of Service, (3) such Media does not violate applicable law or regulation, (4) such Media does not violate the intellectual property rights or other rights of any third party, (5) such Media does not contain profanity, nudity, sexually explicit content, slander, illegal acts, or any other obscenity or vulgarity, and (6) such Media does not contain harassing, bullying, threatening, defamatory, abusive, hateful, or illegal content.
By uploading Media to SermonCentral, Contributor retains ownership of his or her Media and grants to Outreach a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty free, fully paid, irrevocable, worldwide license to reproduce, make available, perform and display, translate, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, sublicense, and otherwise use any such Media through any medium, whether alone or in combination with other Media or materials, in any manner and by any means, method or technology, whether now known or hereafter created, in connection with SermonCentral or any other website owned, controlled, and/or operated by Outreach, including but not limited to, SermonOutline.ai, SermonMaker.net, Sermons4Kids.com, OutreachMagazine.com, ChurchPlants.com, ChurchJobFinder.com, MinistryTech.com, ChurchLeaders.com, FaithIt.com, and ForEveryMom.com, ThrivingMarriages.com, Outreach100.com, SermonQuotes.com, ToSaveALife.com, as well as any website owned, controlled, and/or operated by Gloo, LLC and its partners, subsidiaries, and affiliates. Contributor understands that any Media Contributor uploads to SermonCentral may be subject to ratings by other Users. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Contributor waives his or her right to object to any derogatory treatment of Contributor’s Media.
SermonCentral is intended to be a forum for the licensing of Media created by Bible- believing Christians who embrace traditional Christian theology. Thus, every Contributor must agree with the Outreach Statement of Belief found here. By uploading Media to SermonCentral, Contributor represents that he or she has read and agrees with the Outreach Statement of Belief. Any Media deemed by Outreach to be in opposition to the Outreach Statement of Belief may be refused and/or removed from SermonCentral at any time. A determination that Media does not comport with the Outreach Statement of Belief is in the sole discretion of any authorized person working at or on behalf of Outreach. Outreach reserves the right to deny a User the ability to submit Media to SermonCentral at any time and for any reason, including but not limited to, an awareness that the ministry, lifestyle, or practices of Contributor is inconsistent with Outreach’s understanding of the life and ministry of a Bible-believing Christian.
Contributor’s Media will be subject to review by Outreach upon submission and at any other time. Contributor acknowledges that Contributor shall have no right(s) or expectation(s) as to the posting, acceptance, or rejection of the Media Contributor uploads to SermonCentral. Outreach reserves the right to remove any Media at any time for any or no reason and without prior notification to Contributor.
The posting of a Contributor’s Media to SermonCentral does not imply affiliation with or endorsement of Contributor or his or her Media by Outreach.
Notwithstanding the foregoing admonitions and agreements, Outreach shall not be liable for any of the Media uploaded by Contributors to SermonCentral, nor shall it be liable for removing (or not removing) any Media.
User acknowledges that SermonCentral contains content that is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, or other proprietary rights, and that these rights are valid and protected in all forms, media, and technologies existing now or hereinafter developed.
User acknowledges that all right, title, and interest in and to the Media, including without limitation, any and all trademark, copyright, and any other intellectual property rights therein remain vested in and with the Contributors, and nothing contained herein shall be construed to convey any rights or proprietary interest in the Media to User other than the specific limited License granted in Section 4 herein. User’s use of the Media binds User by the copyright laws of the United States and international copyright treaties.
User will immediately notify SermonCentral if User becomes aware or suspects that any third party (1) has gained unauthorized access to the Media through User, (2) is wrongfully using the Media, in whole or in part, or (3) is violating any of a Contributors’ intellectual property rights in and to the Media.
Outreach makes no warranties about SermonCentral of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the extent allowable by law, Outreach disclaims any express, implied, and statutory warranties regarding the Media, including warranties of satisfactory quality, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Outreach does not warrant that SermonCentral will offer uninterrupted service or will be error-free. Outreach does not warrant the accuracy of the captioning, keywording or any other information associated with the Media. For as long as Outreach continues to offer SermonCentral and its services, Outreach may seek to update, improve, and expand the services provided by SermonCentral. As a result, Outreach allows Users to access SermonCentral as it may exist and be available on any given day and has no other obligations, except as expressly stated in these Terms of Service. Outreach may modify, replace, refuse access to, suspend, or discontinue SermonCentral or its services, partially or entirely, or change and modify prices for all or part of the services provided to Users, including Membership fees, in its sole discretion. All of these changes shall be effective upon SermonCentral’s posting of the same on its website or by direct communication to Users, unless otherwise noted. Outreach reserves the right to withhold or remove any Media from SermonCentral at any time, with or without notice, if deemed by Outreach to be contrary to these Terms of Service. For avoidance of doubt, Outreach has no obligation to store, maintain or provide a copy of any Media that Contributors upload to SermonCentral, except as set forth in the Outreach Privacy Policy.
SermonCentral may include advertisements for, make offers regarding, and/or provide hyperlinks to third-party websites, products, and services. Outreach is not responsible for the websites, products, and services provided by such third parties.
Under no circumstances shall Outreach, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, or agents be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from (1) any User’s use of, or inability to use, SermonCentral, (2) the violation of any copyright law or any other intellectual property right by a User or a Contributor, or (3) any mistakes, omissions, interruptions, deletions, errors, defects, viruses, delays in operation or transmission, theft, destruction, unauthorized access, or any other failure of SermonCentral to perform under this Agreement.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, User agrees that Outreach’s maximum liability arising out of or in connection with User’s use of, or inability to use, SermonCentral shall, to the extent permitted by law, be limited to five (5) times the value paid by User for the relevant Media.
User agrees to indemnify, defend, save and hold harmless Outreach, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents, to the fullest extent allowed by law from and against any and all liabilities, demands, suits, claims, actions, arbitrations, administrative proceedings, awards, judgments, losses, fines, penalties, or damages (including, without limitation, attorneys’ fees, investigative fees, expert fees, and costs) arising out of or in connection with (1) User’s use of SermonCentral, (2) any unauthorized use or allegedly unauthorized use of any Media, and (3) any other breach by User of User’s obligations under this Agreement. The terms of this section shall survive the expiration or earlier termination of this Agreement.
Outreach, in its sole discretion, may terminate any User’s account, access to, and/or use of SermonCentral and its products and services at any time and for any reason, at which time: (1) User’s License will terminate immediately upon notice of same to User by Outreach, (2) all rights granted to User by the License will immediately revert to Outreach, and (3) any further exploitation of any Media by User shall constitute an infringement of copyright.
If User has exceeded the permissible uses of the License or otherwise violated these Terms of Service, and Outreach gives notice to User of same, User shall not be entitled to a refund of any Membership fees or direct purchase payments User has made to SermonCentral.
User may terminate his or her User account by sending a request to support@sermoncentral.com, or by cancelling his or her Membership as set forth below.
Section 7 (“Proprietary Rights and Copyrights”), Section 8 (“Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability”), and Section 12 (“Miscellaneous Terms”) shall survive termination of this Agreement.
Outreach may amend the Terms of Service at any time and may notify Users by posting an updated version of the Terms of Service on SermonCentral. Continued use of SermonCentral after an amended Terms of Service has been posted shall constitute User’s consent to such changes.
These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between User and Outreach concerning User’s use of SermonCentral and its services. In the event of any inconsistency between the Terms of Service and the terms contained in any purchase order or other communication sent to User by Outreach, the terms of this Agreement shall prevail.
Should any clause of this Agreement be found unenforceable, that will not affect any other clause, and each will remain in full force and effect.
Any failure by Outreach to enforce these Terms of Service or any provision thereof shall not constitute a waiver of Outreach’s right to do so.
In the event SermonCentral retains an attorney or collection agency to collect any outstanding payment due by User, User agree to pay all collection costs, attorneys' fees, and court costs relating thereto, in addition to any outstanding amounts due and applicable interest.
The validity of this Agreement and the interpretation and performance of all of its terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. User hereby irrevocably agrees to submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of any state or federal court located in the County of El Paso, State of Colorado, and expressly waives any claim or defense that such forum is not convenient or proper for purposes of any action arising under this Agreement. The parties hereto waive any right they may have to a jury trial.
User recognizes that the Media available on SermonCentral possess a special, unique, and extraordinary character which makes it difficult to assess the amount of monetary damages SermonCentral and its Contributors might sustain by any unauthorized use of the Media. User agrees that irreparable injury would be caused to SermonCentral or its Contributors by such unauthorized use, and that injunctive relief would be appropriate in the event of a breach of this Agreement.
If after notice to User, User fails to take any action which User is obliged to take under the terms of this Agreement, Outreach and/or Contributors shall have the right and option, but not the duty, to bring an action for specific performance to compel such action by User, and shall be entitled to recover all reasonable costs, expenses, attorney's fees and disbursements with respect thereto if such specific performance is awarded by a court of competent jurisdiction.
This Agreement shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties hereto and their respective legal representatives, successors, and assigns.
User may cancel User’s Membership by logging into User’s SermonCentral account, going to the billing page, and clicking "Cancel." User may be asked a series of questions which SermonCentral uses to improve its service. When User cancels User’s Membership, User cancels only future charges associated with User’s subscription. Cancellations are effective at the end of the current billing period, and as such, SermonCentral does not offer prorated refunds for cancelled Memberships. User will not receive a refund for the current billing cycle as User will continue to have the same access and benefits of User’s Membership for the remainder of the current billing period.
Please keep in mind that User is solely responsible for properly cancelling User’s account. While cancellation through User’s account is the simpler and preferred method for cancellation, User can also contact support (contact info below) if User needs assistance with cancellation.
Should any Media purchased by User pursuant to these Terms of Service have defects in material or workmanship and these are notified in writing to SermonCentral (support@sermoncentral.com) within thirty (30) days from the date of delivery of the Media, then Outreach will either replace the Media with another digital copy of the Media free from defect or refund the fee (non-subscription) User paid for the purchase of the detective Media, at Outreach’s option.
SermonCentral offers a 30-day, money-back guarantee of its Membership products and services. If User is dissatisfied with SermonCentral during the first 30 days of Membership, User may receive a refund by emailing support@sermoncentral.com or calling the toll-free number below.

Outreach respects the intellectual property of others and takes the protection of copyrights and all other intellectual property very seriously, and we ask Users to do the same.
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the “DMCA”) provides recourse for copyright owners who believe that material appearing on the Internet infringes their rights under US copyright law. If User believes in good faith that Media available on SermonCentral infringes User’s copyright, User (or User’s agent) may send SermonCentral a notice requesting that the Media be removed, or access to it blocked. The notice must include the following information: (a) a physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that has allegedly been infringed; (b) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works); (c) identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to allow SermonCentral to locate the Media within the website; (d) the name, address, telephone number and email address (if available ) of the complaining party; (e) a statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the Media in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and (f) a statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is the owner of an exclusive right, or is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right, that is allegedly infringed. If User believes in good faith that a notice of copyright infringement has been wrongly filed against User, the DMCA permits User to send us a counter-notice. Notices and counter-notices must meet the then-current statutory requirement imposed by the DMCA. See www.loc.gov/copyright for additional details.
Notices and counter-notices should be sent to:

Plagiarism is taking the work of another and misrepresenting it as User’s own. Outreach adamantly opposes any such misrepresentation and reserves the right to exclude any Media which it considers, at its sole discretion, to be plagiarized. Outreach reserves the right to freeze the User account of any Contributor found to be submitting such materials. Moreover, the Membership of any Contributor suspected of plagiarism may be cancelled, in Outreach’s sole discretion. While it is impossible for SermonCentral to monitor proper use of sermon content used in the pulpit, SermonCentral expects Users to acknowledge the work of others as they use it in their preaching. Outreach reserves the right to freeze the User account or cancel the Membership of any User suspected of using Media obtained through SermonCentral without giving proper credit to the Contributor.
In the unlikely event that User experiences unauthorized use of User’s credit card on SermonCentral, User is advised to promptly report the fraudulent activity to User’s credit card company. User agrees that SermonCentral may contact User’s credit card company to report a claim of fraudulent use when SermonCentral suspects credit card fraud has occurred, or when User provides a specific written request for such a report. User requests to report fraud should be sent to Support@SermonCentral.com and must include the full name, email address, mailing address and phone number of the person claiming fraud. Please call SermonCentral at 1-866-899-4426, Monday through Friday 9am - 6:30pm (EST), to confirm receipt of User’s written request. SermonCentral will fully cooperate with all government organizations to the fullest extent possible to ensure those responsible for credit card fraud are held responsible.
