The moment you give your life to jesus you are not just saying " yes Lord"  you are literarily saying  let the battle begin.The battle we are in today is  not the battle of physical confrontation but a spiritual warfare that needs spiritual weapons.

I believe some of us will be wondering why we need to use a weapon when  we are not a soldier. The phrase "it is written" is used seventy-two times in the Bible and even four times when Jesus is being tempted by the devil in the wilderness. (The evil one used it once, too.) Why did Jesus and the apostles lean so heavily on Scripture? Is it really so important?
