We should expect to be healed because God is a healing God, the Garden of Eden shows God's perfect will is no sickness, Christ atoned for our healing, and Jesus regularly healed the sick and called others to do the same.

DIVINE HEALING IS GOD’S WILL Mt. 4:23-24 INTRODUCTION A. HUMOR: THE REAL CHARACTER 1. • The Least Of These

Contributed by Derrick Tuper on Jun 27, 2021
     | 5,369 views

The title is taken from Jesus' words in Mt. 25 when he said, 'whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine you did for me'. Let's look at how Jesus ministered to the less fortunate.

THE LEAST OF THESE The title is taken from Jesus' words in Mt. 25 when he said, 'whatever you did for the least of these brothers of mine you did for me'. Jesus didn't use that phrase to indicate that the people he was referring to were the least important. In fact, in Luke 9:48 ...read more

3/21/21 A.M. “Tag” Matthew 4:13-22 School Games #2 A couple of weeks ago I preached an IMPORTANT MESSAGE on, “RED ROVER, RED ROVER let Mitch come on over.” If you missed it, you’ll be OK. This morning I want to go back to the SCHOOL YARD. I guess I’ve been REMINISCING too much lately. But I ...read more

  • Why We Are Here

Contributed by Barry O Johnson on May 10, 2021
     | 4,278 views

I read an article recently about church planting and the author talked about all of the humanitarian things that result from doing so. It got me to thinking: is church planting what Jesus really wants if it’s going to following the humanitarian model?

The message today is titled “Why we are here.” I’m not asking a question, as you can see, but making a statement of purpose. Now I’m not talking about why we are here at this church. Well, at least not directly. I’m talking about why those of us who call ourselves Christian, who are born again and ...read more

Matthew 10:37-38 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. • "I Will Make You Fishers Of Men”

Contributed by Dr. Odell Belger on Jan 5, 2022
     | 1,758 views

There are some things in the Bible that people sometimes feel they can be justified in saying, “I do not understand what that passage means.”

In those cases, we feel that God is not going to hold them responsible. However, some passages even the new convert can understand and obey. We know God does hold us responsible, and we will give account for those things we do understand. For example, the Bible clearly teaches that every ...read more

  • God Abides In Small Places

Contributed by D. Dewaine Phillips on Jan 21, 2022
    based on 1 rating

When trying to start a new church, we often think we should send church planters to the largest populated areas. However, both John the Baptist and Jesus preached in the wilderness, and people came to them where they were!

I have entitled our message for this evening, “God Abides in Small Places.” Abide means, to dwell and to continue in a place. The Lord can be found abiding – and alive and well – in small places; and it is very important for us to be reminded of this fact because of America’s belief that “bigger ...read more

  • An Invitation To Healing (Bonus Week) Series

Contributed by Garrett Tyson on Jan 25, 2022
     | 2,006 views

God gave most of this message to me while I was at work. I took dictation, basically, for 45 minutes, and then tried to fill in gaps without messing it up. Bottom line: God will heal you.

Brothers and sisters, understand today that I am in no way criticizing you, or condemning you, or judging you. I want to help you. There is no more obvious sign of the church's weakness and lack of faith than the chronic sickness and disease found in so many of its members. Even just among ...read more

"Do Overs" We all have them. The disciples got a "do over", because Jesus was in the boat. Jesus makes people different. Making people different is why Jesus was born. Quote by a man who will not get a "do over" on Judgment day.

In Jesus Holy Name February 6, 2022 Luke 5:1-11 Redeemer “Fishermen: Jesus Gives Them a Do Over” Do over days. Have you ever had one? You would be a most unusual person if you didn't have a few do over days in your history. Think back. Come on. Be honest. I'm talking ...read more

Contributed by David Owens on May 19, 2025
     | 472 views

The mission for all disciples of Jesus includes helping others become followers of Jesus. We are to be "fishers of men" and help others learn to do the same.

    A. Today’s sermon brings to a conclusion this series on outreach that I called “Mission Minded Disciples.” 1. In today’s sermon, we are going to focus on Jesus’ “famous last words,” but before we do, I thought it might be fun to think about some other not so “famous last words.” 2. Here are the Top ...read more

Have you noticed how frequently Jesus is depicted eating? Luke mentions 19 meals, 13 unique to this gospel alone. This reveals something special about Jesus—He valued meals not just for food but as powerful opportunities for ministry, relationship-building, and extending God's kingdom.

A Glutton If you've read the gospel of Luke - have you noticed just how often Jesus is depicted as eating? It's everywhere - there are 19 meals in Luke, 13 of which are unique to this gospel.      | 520 views

He would let us know He was coming, He would understand us, know the future, be able to control nature, do creative miracles, have power over sickness, evil spirits, give life to the dead, and forgive sins

IF GOD CAME TO EARTH...WHAT WOULD HE BE LIKE? 1. HE WOULD GIVE US A HEADS-UP THAT HE WAS COMING It’s not right to surprise people and expect a good visit. And He DID give us a heads-up – for about 4,000 years. From Gen. 3:15 until Malachi chap. 3 God told us He was coming to earth and gave over ...read more
