The Israelites were hemmed in from behind and before, and in such a critical situation they looked up to the Lord who intervened to bring a mighty deliverance. No matter what our fears or anxieties, let’s look up to Jesus who died to save us and lives to deliver us from all our fears.
We read in Exodus 14:10, “When the Israelites saw the king and his army marching against them, they were terrified and cried out to the LORD for help.” (GNB)
