Luke's gospel tells us that Mary and Joseph offered the poor person's sacrifice when taking Jesus to the Temple. Why would God have chosen for His Son to be born into a poor family?

Using Joseph as an example and the word for "fear" in Greek (Phobeo) used by the Angel, we too can overcome the fears that keep us from the pursuit of holiness (sanctification).
