Jesus loved to ask questions (the Gospels list at least 135 of his questions). The most powerful question Jesus asked in this text was "Who are you looking for?" Who they were looking for tells us a lot about the people in this story.

Why are Christians afraid to talk about their blessings from Jesus Christ? Peter did in this narrative. BUT when he received the Holy Spirit he went out and proclaimed the Gospel. We have the Holy Spirit and should do the same as he did.
