The birth of Jesus involved both joy and sorrow. These emotions are vivid in the Christmas season. Jesus came to deal with both -- to give us joy and a sense of peace in our sorrows.

Jesus Christ was first introduced to the people by John the Baptist as the Lamb of God. He was last introduced by Pilate as teh King of the Jews. Only if Pilate knew just how on course he was with that title.
