  • What Is Truth?

Contributed by Walter Thomas on Nov 26, 2019
    based on 1 rating

There are so many truth claims bombarding Believers today. What is a saint to do? Pilot had Jesus on trial, but Jesus said truth was on trial. Pilot asked, "What is truth?" Not much has changed since that John 18:37 episode.

WHAT IS TRUTH? Dr. Walter Thomas I define truth as whatever God says and whatever God knows. God is the source of all truth. The Omniscient One is the Repository of all truth and the Arbiter of all truth claims. Everything else is merely a truth-claim at best, waiting to see if it agrees with what ...read more

  • Where Do We Go? Series

Contributed by Stephen Sheane on Nov 28, 2019
     | 3,170 views

Jesus calls us to witness for him wherever we are, wherever we go and with whoever we know.

WHERE DO WE GO? A few weeks ago Joshua and I went on a trip to Lebanon and Egypt. It was an amazing time. We saw a glimpse of what God is doing right now in that region of the world. I spent 10 years living in Kuwait, and ministry in the Muslim world is difficult. I knew missionaries that had ...read more

  • Heaven (A Funeral Sermon)

Contributed by Dr. Odell Belger on Feb 15, 2022
     | 3,988 views

I want to read from a text that is similar to the situation we have today. It is from John 11:1-15. Also, I would like to read John 14:1-4 for your comfort.

Most of us who plan to take a trip to a foreign country go to the county library, or borrow some books from a friend, and begin to read about what we can expect when we arrive in that distant land. As you know ______________ has recently taken a trip, and we are going to the Word of God to see ...read more

Jesus preaches an extreme type of pacifism in order to let our lights shine.

  • God-Appointed Down Times

    based on 1 rating

Perhaps you have a calling; and yet, you haven’t heard from the Lord in a while and feel directionless. This message explores how the apostle Paul had to undergo both a three-year and a fourteen-year down-time consecutively.

When you are down to nothing, God is up to something! - Barbara Franklin(1) Have you ever been assigned a task from the Lord, or been asked by Him to do something specific? Perhaps you’ve been called to pastor a church, become a missionary, attend seminary, or even start a new outreach in the ...read more

    based on 1 rating

God knows best. He gave Jesus Christ to be the Savior for everyone who believes in Him. To receive the full benefits of his salvation, you should fully surrender to God. Decide not to do your will, but God’s will. Then you will be close to God and experience his power.

Sermon – How Christians ought to Behave (Walk Upright in a Fallen World) Romans 12:1-10 “And so, dear brothers and sisters,[a] I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. • Shooting Our Wounded

Contributed by D. Dewaine Phillips on Feb 18, 2022
    based on 3 ratings

We cringe when we hear about shooting the wounded; but how many times have we seen a brother or sister in Christ who was suffering spiritually, and then we shot him or her down with our words of judgment and condemnation?

I want to open with an illustration. On May 21, 2004, Captain Rogelio Maynulet of the United States Army shot an unnamed Iraqi who was wounded in a chase.(1) What was his reasoning? He reported, “He was in a state that I didn’t think was dignified – I had to put him out of his misery.” He ...read more

They started running toward the bear hollering, “Bad Bear! Bad Bear!” The bear raised up on its back legs, and it appeared to be around 7 or 8 feet tall. Contributed by Wayne Lawson on Feb 21, 2022
    based on 2 ratings

We don’t know very much about Jesus’ process of maturation. The Gospels are rather silent about his growing up years, with Matthew being the only other canonical gospel that even offers a birth narrative, and he is silent on the years between birth and baptism.

TITLE: THE FAMILY BUSINESS SCRIPTURE: ST. LUKE 2:49 It was just two months ago we gathered here in the sanctuary as we celebrated the birth of our Lord and Savior. We had special programs like Candlelight Service, attended Christmas Sing Along over at Macedonia Baptist Church, and of course ...read more

Contributed by Sean Dees on Mar 1, 2022

Foundations are important to a structure. Without a good foundation everything you build will fall apart if it's not on a solid foundation. All we do for God needs to be on a good foundation of Faith.

    I. “IF” That word alone is mentioned 1,420 times in Scripture. A. The Dictionary describes "IF" this way : in case that; granting or supposing that; on condition that: Sing if you want to. Stay indoors if it rains. I'll go if you do. even though: an enthusiastic if small audience. ...read more
