Ezekiel’s prophetic ministry was to the Jewish exiles in Babylon. An interesting fact about Ezekiel’s ministry was that God muted him for twelve years. Ezekiel was only allowed to speak when he was uttering an authentic word from God.

We all want comfort. And God offers it to us as he did to the exiled Israelites. We can take comfort that our sin has been paid in full, that God's word outlasts our problems, and that God is coming again. Forgiven, forever, for sure!
