I love this story! It’s a story of incredible, undeserved kindness. We live in a harsh world, and while there are stories of kindness out there, it’s far too uncommon. The world will show kindness to its own, but we are called to show kindness to anyone and everyone, even our enemies. But why?
1. Mephibosheth

—He was a cripple. Our culture has changed certain words, such as “lame” or “dumb.” Mephibosheth was a cripple, that is, he was lame.
