GOD told Abram to pack his belongings and to “GO to the Land I will give to you”. Abram obeyed GOD, but the journey wasn’t easy. Abram had conflict, strife, uncertainty, etc. But he remained trusting in the LORD outside of his comfort zone.

Esau was angry because Jacob had received his father’s blessing. But Esau’s family and great possessions prove he received a blessing as a descendant of his grandfather Abraham. But Esau missed the mark. While he had worldly wealth, he was spiritually bankrupt.

In Islamic beliefs, Abraham had prayed to God for a son. (God delivered this child to Abraham and later tested Abraham's faith by asking him to sacrifice his only son at the time.

Ishmael Ishmael was the first son of Abraham through the Egyptian Hagar, the common patriarch of the Abrahamic religions, and is venerated by Muslims as a prophet.
