It is not easy being a faithful follower of Jesus and oftentimes we are tempted to throw in the towel and call it quits. Elisha is a role model of what it means to stay committed and faithful to the very end.

In the Bible tearing clothes referred to Mouring, hurt, sorrow, that is what happened to Elisha when his friend departed but he picked up cloak and kept going despite the tearing of clothes.
