Divine Appointment With Breakthrough
>Confession of Faith
God has prophesied that in the last days we will see an inversion of the church.
>An oppressed church - an ineffective church
will transform into glorious, powerful church.
>I have quoted Malachi several times which
states that the world will look at the church and call it delightful or valuable.
That is not to say that there will be no persecution.
In Mark 10:29-30, Jesus says that: “There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,
30 But he shall receive an hundredfold [of these things] now in this time... with persecutions.” (KJV)
>Ask yourself the question, “Why does God want
me to have a breakthrough?”
>The answer is because He watches over His
Word to see that it is fulfilled.
He has spoken His desire for us - and He is
leading us to it if we will follow.
James 5:3-4
3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. (KJV)
God has said that the faithful will abound with blessing. But to reap that blessing, we have to do something.
In these verses in James (3&4) God is hearing two parties crying out for harvest:
1. The wages are crying -
2. The people to whom it belongs are crying -
>And the Lord hears both cries
Do you remember when the Israelites were delivered from Egypt?
God heard their cries and in the deliverance He not only had he heard the cries of the His people, but He also had heard the cries of their labour.
Before they left or in the process of their breakthrough the wealth of Egypt was transferred to them.
They had 430 years of being stolen from ...
(what is breakthrough?)
It’s restoration!
There is a spiritual wall that has been built which keeps us from occupying or possessing the promises of God.
The breakthrough is the restoration to the place where the free flowing Spirit of God is made available so that we are in a position of receiving what God has made available.
>In the process of God restoring the Israelites back to a position of blessing within God’s system - He transferred the harvest of all the lost labor to the Israelites (church).
Notice in James the first thing that was crying out was the “hire of the laborours.” The wages of those who had laboured.
Secondly, the laborers themselves were crying out.
Last week I asked you to be honest and tell me if you felt that your sowing was greater than your harvest.
The majority said that as you look at your life right now and you think of all the labor, money, time and talent you have put into the work of God that you have not reaped a harvest according to biblical terms from this.
But I am here to tell you today that your harvest from all that you have sown into the Kingdom of God is crying out, but are you?
We need to get aggressive!
Too many people are not crying out. They aren’t being aggressive.
All the while their harvest is crying out, they are not -- and so they are not reaping their harvest.
BUT! When the harvest is crying out and the harvesters are crying out -- God causes a divine appointment and brings the two together.

I want to talk this morning about a:
Divine Appointment With Breakthrough!
-------------------------------------------------
Last week I asked you if the has the power to keep you from getting your breakthrough!
then I identified that the reason you have areas that you need breakthrough is because we’ve allowed promises to be stolen.
The has a purpose and appears only for that purpose - John 10:10 states that purpose is to kill, steal, and destroy.
>Looking for that one he can devour 1 Peter 5:8
We looked at the Israelites prior to going in and taking the promised land and identified that:
1. They had an enemy - armies guarding the borders
2. The enemy had power - the skill of the army
3. Despite that opposition -victory was given
before they entered.
4. However, fear (twisted faith) kept them from going in and receiving the promise.
Always remember that Faith receives what Grace provides.
We then looked at Eph. 1:19-23 and saw the “Greatness of His power that has been given to us who believe.”
